Dispute Appeals & Ombudsman Review
Transparent legal mechanisms to request independent reconsideration of contested escrow dispute decisions.
If you believe an escrow dispute decision was rendered in error or with incomplete facts, you have the right to file an appeal.
Core Architecture & Principles
- 14-Day Appeal Window: File a formal request for appellate review within 14 calendar days of a dispute ruling.
- New Evidence Requirement: Appeals must introduce new documented facts, courier affidavits, or manufacturer verifications.
- Independent Ombudsman Panel: Reviews conducted by an independent judicial panel not involved in the initial determination.
Operational Process & Execution Flow
Appeal Initiation
Navigate to the closed dispute in your Resolution Center and click 'File Formal Appeal'.
Evidence Documentation
Attach new verifiable evidence demonstrating why the initial determination was defective.
Final Determination
The Ombudsman Panel reviews the complete case de novo and renders a final, binding written ruling.
Appellate Finality
Ombudsman determinations are final within the platform administrative dispute system. Only one appeal per transaction is permitted.
