Section 4.4.2: Product & Inventory Sync Endpoints
Technical specification for automated product creation, stock updates, price modification, and catalog retrieval.

Product & Inventory Sync Endpoints

Synchronize stock levels in real time across multiple warehouses to eliminate stockouts and overselling.

High-throughput batch endpoints allow merchants to update prices and inventory levels for up to 500 items in a single request.

Core Architecture & Principles

  • Bulk SKU Sync: POST `/api/v1/inventory/batch-update` to push live quantity updates across all active variations.
  • Listing Management API: Full CRUD capabilities for product titles, pricing tiers, media attachments, and attributes.
  • Real-Time Stock Reservations: Automated stock locking during checkout prevent double-purchases of limited inventory.

Operational Process & Execution Flow

Catalog Query

Call `GET /api/v1/products` to fetch existing active listings and associated variation IDs.

Payload Formatting

Construct JSON array containing SKU identifiers and new physical inventory counts.

Batch Push

Transmit payload to the batch sync endpoint and inspect HTTP 200 response with updated SKU status.

Sync Frequency

For optimal platform performance, we recommend synchronizing inventory delta changes every 5 minutes.
